Well, I don't have time to write completely about all the things that the kids (and us) have been doing, but my mom wrote down two of the stories that they've given her. I will try to post some pictures and blurps very soon.
Jeremiah Frank – Two and half years old, March 10, 2008
The week after Isaiah was born, Kristin, the kids and I (Grandma Joan) were at Joann Fabrics. As I was looking at the pattern books, Jeremiah pointed at one of the books and said, “That is a naughty book.” Surprised I looked up. I was thinking, “Is Travis teaching him about girl’s skimpy clothing already (the girl was a little skimpy teenager that looked like she had an attitude)? Not wanting to assume anything, I asked, “Why is it a naughty book?” To my surprise, he answered matter of factly (and pointed at the girl), “She isn’t listening to her mommy and daddy!” So a two year can recognize an attitude like that!
Jeremiah and Lilly – Two and three years old, September 1, 2008
The Frank family was visiting us the day after Daniel was born. We were having a birthday get together for Brianna. After we served the ice cream cake to everyone I (Gma Joan) sat down on the living room couch to eat mine. I started chatting and didn’t eat much, when Jeremiah and Lilly (at the table) finished their cake. Lilly looked over at me and made a beeline for me, saying loudly, “Grandma have cake? Bite, please?” Jeremiah was hot on her heels as she raced across the room. As I looked at their little angelic faces I couldn’t resist them. So, of course, they each received many bites and gma only a few.
We are home, post is quite late!
