Well, it's been a while since I've had a chance to update and unfortunantly my card reader has gone a-wall, so no pictures this time. But don't worry, you'll be bombarded with them soon!
We had a fanstastic and really quite relaxing Thanksgiving, which is amazing considering there were 11 kids running around!
Here are some updates and quotes the kids have blessed us with recently.
Isaiah: He crawled! He's still working on it, and prefers to do his army crawl, but he'll get there soon...I found him standing in his playpen today...and, drum roll please...he has 5 teeth! Yup he got #4 before Thanksgiving and #5 a week later, with 5 more bulges getting ready! Thankfully he's beening a lot less cranky than before!
Jeremiah: Last night he woke up crying for mommy, and when I went in, he said, "This got me." confused I asked, "What got you?" At which he points and replies as he rolls over to sleep, "This and that got me." I have no idea!
I'm so proud of my 'baby' boy, today he came to me and told me he could not throw away his napkin like I had told him too. Curious, I asked him why and he told me there was no liner in the can. I told him to put a liner in--so he did!
Lilly: Well Lilly is deep into the testing phase. She's starting to understand that we mean what we say, but it has given us some good laughs, though usually not things we can laugh out loud at! This little tiny thing told Travis 'no'--just to see what would happen. Obviously she didn't get away with it and Travis told her, "You don't tell me no." So, the next day she tells me, "You don't tell me no."--just to see what would happen! And then she'll try again later, just to make sure the same reaction happens. : ) Oh dear! But then other times she's perfectly behaved, for example:
At Travis' parents house the three kids were eating cheese-its and Jeremiah asked to give some to Isaiah. We told him he could feed him a small peice. We look back over 30 seconds later to see Lilly trying to feed Isaiah as well! No, no Lilly, you have to ask. Okay she says, and then turns to Isaiah and says, "Do you want some?"
That's all I have for today. Jeremiah is desperatly wanting to go ice skating, he keeps putting these fun dinosaur and turtle hand puppets on his feet as his 'ice skates.' His imagination is just moving into high gear--he made a train with the chairs and they rode to Chuck E. Cheese, MissDonalds, and Burger Kane. He's turning into such a fine young boy...I'm not looking forward to his next testing phase, but then after he's done he's grown so much!
We are home, post is quite late!

Just as an FYI: AWOL is an acronym (Absence Without Leave) :)
