Ugh

Well, so far I’ve hit week 8 of 42, not very motivating and way too many left. My neighbor I found out today is due in March and my sister-in-law is due in June…lucky. Oh, well, the last couple days haven’t been terrible, the waves of nausea were absent, and I was able to get up and do a few things here and there (like feed the kids) and there were even a few minutes or possibly hours where I felt okay! I have to eat pretty much constantly if I’m going to feel okay, yet what sounds good is a very limited menu. I think I’ve consumed 20 pounds of toast this past week—white bread only. Keep praying that this is just a rough 1st trimester and that when the 2nd comes around I’ll be able to say, "Boy, I was pretty sick, but I feel great now!" That’s my dream…and we’ll deal with the 3rd trimester when we get there.
Updates:
Jeremiah’s latest quote: "When I was your age I loved this book." It’s amazing what he loved when he was my age. I think we can thank Grandma Joan for that one, because I’m pretty sure she told him, "When your mom was your age, she…" Thanks! I’ve laughed so much from that!
Lilly is trying so hard to sprout her independence, and I’ve had to remind myself that she’s 2 ½ and Jeremiah was already doing xy&z by then! Yikes, how I forget. Someone at Indoor Park made an observation that Lilly is very caring for her age. She was calling a little girl over to play, and asked anyone who fell down if they were okay, etc…It’s one of those things that I forget to look for as a mother, because I usually see the bossy, whiny, crying part! But I think he’s right, she does want to make sure everyone is alright.
Isaiah, I can’t believe he’s 11 months! Goodness, I need to plan his birthday party! Jeremiah and Lilly are going to love that! They absolutely love playing with their little brother. Jeremiah is constantly telling me that Isaiah likes it when he throws things at him (even the 4 foot ‘punching bag’). He’s not so sure about walking, but he’ll go along with you for a little while (holding your hands tightly of course!) Oh yes, I switched him to formula and he’s allergic to milk. Hopefully it’s a phase and he’ll grow out of it, but wow. I’ve tried six different formulas, goat milk, and whole milk and they’ll be okay for a little while and then the diaper rash is extreme. Poor baby. We took him off milk for about two days (don’t worry, he drank plenty to get fluids) to get rid of the rash. Now we’re trying different products again. He’s doing okay right now, a little red but seems to be doing better? Won’t he be so embarrassed if he ever reads this when he’s say, 11? Or 16? Mom, why’d you post to the world that I got a rash on my bottom!! Oh I can’t wait to intentionally embarrass them…: )
Travis and I have just sent out a resume to a church in Montana. Right now we have my mom and Pastor Glen praying against us (I’m not sure about my mother-in-law but she probably is too ; ). Pastor Glen doesn’t want us to find a job until the end of summer in 2010. And my mom just thinks it’s too far away. However, I think that my Grandma in Yakima should like it, because that would put her house at the 6/7 hour mark to get to my parents, meaning we’d get to stop there if we were heading over! It sounds promising, at least like we’d be a good fit, we’ll see if it takes us anywhere. I don’t know when they’re meeting to go over resumes etc…I’m ready to have one job. I’m sorry, but three should be full time jobs makes it so it gets done and Travis feels like he’s letting everyone down because he can’t focus on one group of people.
Sorry it’s so wordy, I’ll try to add some pictures to break it up! I'm sorry, but the pictures are not uploading correctly--something about the church having horrible internet. : ) Okay, some pictures worked, I'll try the others when I have more time!

Love the new pictures and I for one love the wordy blog posts. Those are always fun for me to read. Oh, and I thought you might like to know that when Sue told me you had applied for a job out of state she said of course I wish it was closer but the important thing is they find something that makes them happy. So that is what she is praying for.

Vitamin B6 is suppose to work great for morning sickness (per Angie the midwife) and did help me, though I wasn't sick for too long.
