Biggest Loser

So, I've only seen two Biggest Loser Episodes. One I don't think was even an episode since it followed someone who had recently been 'kicked off,' and the other one was the make over show not to far from the end. So, in reality I've never actually seen it, but I have heard bits and pieces about "Jillian Michaels" as one tough cookie on work out etc...Seen her on the Wii exercise routines etc...Anyway, I bought one of her Dvd's at Costco yesterday. And boy oh boy am I out of shape! I mean, I know that I am, it's extremely hard not to be after four kids in five years! I think I made it through two of the six circuts...without the weights! Needless to say, maybe I should have chosen a different trainer...or the 30 Day Shred one instead--that way I'd have an end goal in sight!

On to more exciting topics. I made rolls with my Kitchen Aid tonight! Yup, and they turned out really good...they're called 60 minute Rolls and because I'm slow at everything cooking/baking, they only take about 1 1/2 hours to make. Bread stretches my ability because you have to work so quickly without interuptions!

Isaiah had his first dentist appointment today...everything is fine so it wasted about an hour and a half of my time (including driving). It's amazing that across town can be 30 minutes! Took Jeremiah in to the dentist last week because his front tooth. It turned gray when he hit it two years ago, and was starting to turn red on the inside. It's fine. At least right now, but it's breaking down from the tooth to the root instead of the other way around. So, if it starts to hurt or get red, which could invite infection, the dentist said she'll pull it out. He'll look like a six year old until he's actually six of course! Or he'll have a reddish tooth until he's six and it falls out naturally!

In other news, my sister was in the hospital for about a week with a kidney infection. She's home now and doing better, but still not running full speed. Everything is fine with the baby though, so that is wonderful. She's due in the beginning of April. Glad you're doing better Melinda!

I've starting going to a new mom's group. It's actually a Bible Study (vs. a MOPS with study, crafts and/or speakers). We're doing Elizabeth George's A Woman After God's Own Heart. It's been really challenging as well as refreshing. She strongly encourages us to "beat the family up," so I've been actually getting up around 7 to do my study. I should probably get up a little earlier, but I just can't pull myself out of bed!

Preschool has been going really well with Jeremiah and Lilly. Jeremiah can read two of the 'Bob' books and both can write their names. It will be nice if we ever end up with a larger area, or at least one without a playpen taking up 1/4 of the room! I will say that the hardest part of homeschooling so far is...Isaiah! Poor kid. Every once in a while Travis will be home during preschool and he'll watch Isaiah, it's amazing how much extra work we get done, I can organize papers and spend some one on one time with each kid instead of constantly trying to juggle the older two's questions and keep Isaiah occupied! Oh, well, he'll be old enough soon and then Addie will be the hardest part, and then in just a few short years they'll all be at levels of independence and focus!

Alright, away I go. Have a fabulous day!

Way to go on the workout. That is awesome. I have never seen the show but I know the name Jillian Michaels. You will be so glad if you stick with the workout. I recently finished the P90X series with Tony Horton from Beachbody. It was lots of hard work but I feel so much better now that I have dropped 30 pounds and 3 dress sizes. Amazing how out of shape we get while having kids. Ha ha!

I can barely help Ethan with his homework without have the other two boys interrupt me. I can't even imagine homeschooling. You are awsome.

Which workout did you get? I have the 30 day shred.

Home schooling is difficult with younger kids...I put Kezzy at the table in a booster seat and let her color while Titus and Raquelle do preschool.
