Valentine's Day

So, as most of you know, Travis and I have been gazelle intense on paying off debt the past two years. This means that vacations, birthdays, Christmas etc...are done 'on a shoe string' though more accurately on a very wore shoe string! All so we can eventually be completely debt free (except the house right now).
Valentine's Day is no exception. This year Travis combined multiple little things into one wonderful gift. First, he completed baskets and baskets of laundry, picked up the house, vacuumed and mopped on Friday while I dropped Jeremiah off with the Grandparents. Then On Saturday he had me take a nap while he 'shopped' for my present. Sunday he showed me what he shopped for...flowers. However he knows me so well. Instead of a bouquet of expensive flowers that will die in a week he planted some. Yes, the side of our house which has extremely hard, icky soil now has about six primroses of a beautiful pink shade as well as two small heather bushes which will hopefully be a nice addition to the house for years. Oh, and he took care of all the old icky plants from the front flower boxes as well. Then Monday he got up early and made me a plate of chocolate and white chocolate covered strawberries. He loves me. : )
