Here is the picture story of Jeremiah's tooth removal, but background first. When Jeremiah was two he fell on a dividing strip (between carpet and linoleum), this resulted in his front left tooth turning gray. The dentist said it looked fine inside if it starts hurting him or the gums get really red and/or swollen, bring him back. Two years and nothing. Then, he got a line of red inside his tooth. Another trip to the dentist and she told me the tooth still looks fine on the inside (via x-rays) but if it starts really hurting him or a bump forms up on his gums bring him back, but it might just fall out normal. A couple months later his tooth started bleeding if we brushed it on the back side. Needless to say I called for an appointment...unfortunantly it was while Travis was on a youth retreat for four days, but eventually it was worked out for Saturday after he was back (we were worked into the schedule, seeing as the dentist's first tooth extraction appointment was for June 1st!). So here are the pictures I'm sure you're just aching to see...

Outside the Dentist's Office--look close and you can see the purplish color on his tooth.

Jeremiah with his Koala to squeeze and his 'funny elephant nose' (Doggie was unable to make it, he was getting a bath)
Right after...not feeling so hot, but since he did super fantastic he got two tokens to spend on the token machine (he got a small ninja and some gum)

The gaping hole. He was sluggish for about 6 hours, though it didn't stop him from having cake and ice cream at a birthday party!

Alright, I'm better, lets go play Mario!
And there you have it, my 4 year old with a missing front tooth!
