Well, it's come, the dreaded day...the big 3-0. Yes, I am now married to a 30 year old man. Hmmm, I won't think about the fact that in three years my husband will be married to a 30 year old woman. Or that Jeremiah will be 8 in three years...Anyway, I digress.
With Sunday being a busy day today (Monday) was our birthday day. It started out with a nice relaxing morning...well as much as four little kids can provide relaxation! We brought Travis breakfast in bed of a donut, coffee and a smoothie. Then the kids helped Travis find his presents which I had cleverly hidden with clues all around the house. Then we got our Christmas Tree. And now the house is half decorated and half a big mess (as oppossed to the medium mess that usually graces EVERYWHERE).
Travis' birthday present (slash Christmas slash Valentine's and probably slash Father's Day as well) was a TV. Now, with all those holiday's wrapped up into this one present you'd think it was a monsterous hugely expensive TV. You'd be wrong. Travis got up at 1am, stood in line for a braclet, then went back at 5am to claim his prize! Yes, a 32" TV for $198...pretty much the only Black Friday Deal worth anything (at least as far as I could tell). So, we're going to use it as a computer screen, however we have to buy an adaptor. No problem, right? Wrong. Our computer is soooo old that it doesn't have the right connection. Amazing, six years and you can find newer computers at the Goodwill...well at least Jeremiah can play Mario again. : )
On another note, I think we're going to be moving a couple rooms around. The education room has been doubling as Addie's room (or vica-versa), but we're going to switch with our stuff. While that puts Travis and I farther away from the kids than I'd like at night, it solves the problem of having Addie getting too cold at night, not being able to do laundry when Addie's sleeping (since the washer and dryer are in there too) and me being able to quickly fix lunch while the kids are still doing school. However, the moving of stuff just doesn't sound fun!

Wow Travis did a lot of work for his birthday gift.
Will the school room now be your bedroom and the school room then?
Yes, the school room is our bedroom and the now the kid's desks are in the living room with most of the books/activities and games in our old room with Addie.
