Two Videos...Hopefully

Well, here are two very short videos of the kids playing. And as always, we'll try and see what we end up with! I just posted and the videos played, but there was no sound, not sure if that's because of my computer or what, tell me if you got sound?

Here is Jeremiah and Lilly playing in the kiddie pool with Grandma Joan...Isaiah does not think very highly of the pool, in fact he starts whimpering and crying if we go near it!

Next we have a new trick Isaiah picked up somewhere. Well, I guess it's not exactly a trick...I kept telling him, "Smile Isaiah, smile!" and he would squeeze his eyes closed for a second! It was too adorable to pass up!

Yippy, I just ordered pictures! I try so hard to keep up on ordering pictures, it just doesn't seem to happen! And sorry mom, but I haven't been able to keep up on writing on the backs (or naming the files), I guess that's what happens when you download hundreds at a time and order 50-100 at a time! However, I do have them in folders labeled by year and month and am working on backing them up...yikes.

So, I've also been meaning to blog about my very hectic hour last week, one of those, "I love being a mom, but give me a break!" moments.

It started out as a normal 5 o'clock hour. The kids were winding down from nearly an hour of swimming and running and splashing. Jeremiah decides to run from the pool to the tree and back, jumping of course back into the pool with a big a splash as possible. Well, a bee had decided to take a drink right before he jumps, thankfully he did not land directly on this yellow jacket. No, he just managed to knock him into the water--and right to the side where he proceeds to climb up the wall! First thing I think--drown it! So, I jump up and start splashing the thing around the pool--something the kids think is absoluely fantastic. However, God made bees to survive...and I had to run to the house and turn on the hose to continue my drowning process. It took us (Jeremiah and Lilly helped near the end) at least 15 minutes to kill this bee! Whew!

Inside at last, and dinner is on the stove. I told the kids to remove their swimsuits and get dressed. Suspecious of the quiet I went to investigate. Sure enough both kids were naked and just about to start arguing over a small snowglobe from Easter! I walk around the corner just in time to see Jeremiah drop the globe right by his foot and smash into a thousand glittering peices. Great. I now have two naked children by a bunch of tempting glitter and glass, a toddler ready to come investigate and meat ready to burn in the skillet! Deep breath. Lift Lilly over, command Jeremiah to his bed, take Isaiah with me to turn down the stove and get a bag for glass and after another 15 minute clean up, we're back in business and ready for spaghetti--an adventure all it's own!

You just gotta love those moments of pure insanity, especially when you make it through without any stings or bloody gashes!
