Lilliana

We got 4 year old pictures taken of Lilly today...I can't believe she's almost four. It feels like she should be 2 at the most! She is growing into a beautiful little girl, we've been working really hard on helping her see that being kind, generous, smiling etc...are what make you beautiful. We have Addie's pictures scheduled for next week. I actually got them taken before their birthdays this year and they'll all be ready for their birthday party...not that there is anything special about that, just that I can hand out a few instead of mailing them! I like that. : )
So Addie can climb out of her playpen, thanks to a hole Jeremiah cut in the mess netting a couple months ago. And now she can climb out of her exersaucer! I think she can only do the latter when there is something to pull herself with, so if I put her in the center of the room, we might be okay. : )
Oh, yes, I forgot about a piano lesson yesterday. In my defense normal days are Thursday and we didn't have one last Thursday. I still feel bad though. : ( I can't wait for school to start so there is a 'normal' schedule. Unfortunantly the Education Room still looks like a diaster zone (even though Travis and I worked on it for a couple hours the last couple days). I still need to do photo copying and figure out which projects I'm going to do with them. I don't know how other homeschool families work it out, but mine is more like 'school.' We sit and have intro time, story time, math time, transitions, projects, reading time, show and tell...you get the idea. : ) Ugh, makes me tired and excited at the same time!
Well, I'd better go, I need to buy dish soap (I forgot to get it at the grocery store yesterday!) and I need to find out if we're making chicken strips tonight...they are yummy!
