My Heart Smiles

Lilly: Jeremiah I have something to say to you.
Jeremiah: What?
Lilly: I'm sorry I broke the tongue off your snake, I didn't mean to.
Jeremiah: Oh, that's okay, it looks cooler without a tongue, like it swallowed something.

This is a conversation that was not prompted at all. No one knew that Lilly had broken the tongue, and Jeremiah's response was all his own. Made my heart smile, especially since they'd been having a hard time listening earlier. : ) Maybe we're making some head way, press on, keep pressing on.
