Every Year

So I was thinking yesterday that every year (for the past two) Lilly throws up in the first 1/2 of the year. The first time she was with the Kershners, bless them, while we were at a pastor's retreat in February (she was 1 1/2, throwing up multiple times through the night and once the next day). Last year, I think it was in May at the family movie night at church. She had been cranky and then proceeded to up-chuck while sitting on Travis' lap. The gym floor is great for liquid to splash and spread fyi. She was bouncing off the walls right after. I was wondering if this would be a tradition to look forward to. Well...
Today Lilly has been fine. She went to sit in her seat for lunch and said, "I'm not hungry." To which I replied, "That's fine, you can go to bed." And she did! Normally I get a "okay, I'm better," but she got her blanket, crawled into bed, told me her tummy felt icky and fell asleep. Right around 2:30 I heard a paniced yelp. So I run in (though I thought it was Isaiah at first) and find her scared little face with throw up all over her pillow. And as I try to help her up, the next three waves come! Poor baby. Amazingly enough she managed to get it on only her shirt, special blanket and pillow with three drops on the sheet. She is now happy as a clam and playing in the tub. I am so glad she didn't eat the refried bean and cheese casadeas! Maybe my theory is right...and now I'm done with her throwing up for the year! Oh, and I don't think any of the others have thrown up yet. I just can't wait!

Poor Lilly and poor Mommy. I hope that's the last of it for your household.
