Disneyland sayings by the kids, March 3-7th
We arrived at the hotel on Thursday evening. Friday morning when getting dressed, Lilly said, “are we going home now?”
Aunt Stephanie told lilly we were going to braid her hair to match her aunts’ hair. Stephanie said, “Maybe we’ll braid Jeremiah’s ears.” Lilly emphatically said, No! Then he will look ugly and mommy and daddy won’t want him and will sell him!”
As Jeremiah and I (Grandma Joan) were walking to the shuttle bus, he said, “Grandma, you are pretty cool!” Of course I was thinking I was cool because I took him to Disneyland, etc., but I asked him, “Why?” He replied, “Because you are debt free!” Dave Ramsey would be so proud!
Aunt Brianna was explaining to me how Aunt Stephanie would have to pay $30 to eat and see Ariel up close. Jeremiah said, “Aunt Stephanie can have my $30 (spending money Grandma gave him) to see Ariel!” Such a generous child!

While the children were away Travis and I accomplished a lot, though not nearly all of what we wanted.
*I put on a Bridal Shower--my first one, and it went over well
*We bought two red bartlet pear trees
*We purchased five more laying chickens
*We planted more tomato starts
*We planted two rows of onions outside
*Weeded an especially weedy area
*Pruned the climbing vines along the front (found a rose bush hiding that had a sucker 'stem' about two and a half inches around)
*Oh, and we ate out more than we ever normally do because it was so relaxed that I never wrote a schedule! Oops!
I'm so glad they got that wonderful experience! Thank you guys! It was nice to have just Isaiah and Addie (Addie started helping unload the dishwasher because I wasn't so focused on all the other kids!), but it's just not the same without Lilly helping everyone out and Jeremiah sweeping! : )
